Cooler, surrounded by mountains, the Inle Lake area is beautiful and my favorite area of the trip.
The local Intha people fish and farm in floating gardens.

We went for a full day trek up onto the mountains with Than Dtay, our Shan guide. We figured we walked 11 miles, so my feet were up for the last part of the trip by boat back to town.
I hope that this was not my last Inlay sunset.
