Here, simple things bring such happiness.  Like going swimming.

 And a birthday party with games and modest gifts. 

There was a group of boys, ages 7 to 14, that worked so hard to coach each other through "Pin The Tail on the Elephant" that all 10 of them were winners.  While that posed a challenge for me to award three prizes, I recognised how extraordinary their support of one another was.
